The concept for the range was born back in 1999 and after 5 years of vigorous testing SKNHEAD is now ready to hit the male grooming market at Everyman Barbers.
Founder, Adee Phelan, the man behind David Beckham’s infamous mohawk haircut and barber to many an A-list celebrity has created a range of products with a cross between hair care and skin care in one.
Adee, who was brought up in Birmingham, had wanted to bring out a luxury men’s skin and hair grooming range for many years. Realising the grooming market was totally saturated with products that all do exactly same things, he wanted to create a range of products with a very specific USP.
The idea came to Adee after he used coconut butter on his hands, which he then rubbed the remnants in his hair. Friends and industry professionals complimented Adee on the condition of his hair and he realised he’d stumbled onto a new product; a moisturiser that could also be used in the hair… aptly named Game Changer was born.
